Owl Path Trek

Overview

Set in Bumthang, the Owl Path Trek is one of Bhutan's shortest and most culturally intimate walks. It follows a traditional route between Trongsa and Bumthang through forest, ridge views and monastery visits, with space for beginners and families to enjoy the landscape without the pressure of a longer route. The area is known for owls calling at night, which gives the trek its name, and for the monastic and rural character that makes Bumthang feel distinct from the rest of the country.
